Let’s connect >

Are you longing for a change in your life and career? Or responding to an unexpected change?

A pivot is a change in your way of doing and being. Some you choose and celebrate, others are unexpected and unwanted. Are you:

  • Stepping into a leadership role at a new company or a promotion at your current one?

  • Experiencing a reorg, expansion in scope or redefinition of your role or function?

  • Launching a new venture or shuttering an existing one?

  • Experiencing a layoff or termination?

  • Considering quitting, taking a sabbatical, or a total career pivot?

  • Reconsidering leadership itself?

Are you feeling excited, exhausted, anxious or relieved? I’ve been there and I understand. Changes to your life and career impact your perspective on who you are, what you want and what you believe you’re worthy and capable of achieving. What seems like a change that starts in a single day often takes time to process, adapt and embrace a new direction.

Are you navigating a difficult life or career transition?

A transition is how you process change. Are you feeling fear and resistance or longing to break free and embrace it? You may be questioning if you feel prepared for, worthy or deserving of the change. You may have the love and support of family, friends and colleagues yet still feel alone and uncertain of how you’re going to succeed in this new situation.

Start by giving yourself permission to tune into your thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations. You may be shifting between feeling confident and fearful, relieved and regretful, excited and overwhelmed. Your body may feel revved up or weighed down. These are the threads that connect and guide you to what you want and need.

Reflecting on your true wants, needs and values is the path to gaining clarity on who you can become because of this change. Transitions are a time to examine your “should stories” like “I should be more of this and less of that” and “I should do this and not do that”.

Questioning your old patterns and limiting beliefs and reconnecting to what has always made you feel genuinely energized will expand your perspective on who you are becoming, what you want now, and what new things you believe you’re worthy and capable of achieving. From here, you can begin to align your inner self to all the possibilities in the external world.

Are you ready for transformation?

A transformation is how you put meaningful new ways of doing and being into action. You start to actively see and choose differently. You pursue relationships and opportunities that are in alignment with your deepest wants, needs and values. Confusion, doubt, anger and fear no longer dominate your perspective, freeing you to take new actions inspired by your clarity and a feeling of more confidence, fulfillment and joy.

One of the greatest learnings that come from personal transformation is how to lead yourself first - to continually invest care and attention in your own growth and well being - just as you do with everything and everyone around you.

You know you’ve experienced a transformation when:

In the past you were overwhelmed and terrified of failing.
Now you take the wheel and put fear in the back seat. You welcome new opportunities, trusting that you have the capability and support to handle what comes.

In the past you were exhausted from the pressure of not letting people down who have invested in or depend on you.
Now you set more realistic, sustainable expectations with yourself and others. You feel confident in communicating what you need because you know how to maintain healthy boundaries. When your boundaries are crossed, you know how to respond, rather than react, by assessing and resetting them.

In the past you were angry that whatever you achieved felt like it was never enough.
Now you see your wins and losses as a series of valuable learnings that compound over time. You recognize and feel gratitude not just for what you’ve accomplished, but how you show up with integrity and love. You give yourself permission to savor your success and be compassionate when you make mistakes.

In the past you felt like your job title and comp defined your identity and self worth.
Now you feel deep conviction that your value as a person far extends beyond your work. You are deserving and worthy of creating a fulfilling and joyful life for yourself, your loved ones and beyond.

In the past you were so focused on the team, the responsibilities, the business, you lost touch with what you really want, need and feel.
Now you see the most important action you can take is to lead yourself first, in alignment with the values and needs that matter most to you. You make choices that enrich your personal growth, energy and fulfillment.

Throughout my 30 year career, I’ve experienced all of the above.

These experiences are a big part of why I’ve become an executive coach - to share what I’ve learned and guide others through their own unique journey of transformation and growth. I’d love to help you experience more clarity, fulfillment and joy in your personal and professional life.

I invite you to share a challenge you’re experiencing right now. I offer a free, confidential, no commitment discovery call, simply to listen and answer any questions you may have. Contact me here or connect and message me on LinkedIn.
